I had new rotors and pads put on (the dealership put them on - free of charge - still under warranty - under 40,000 miles) just before Christmas and it didn't squeal for 1 whole week! It was heavenly.

Right now the only time the brakes don't sound like a school bus is when they are wet! When they are dry and when it's cold they are really loud!

I've been raising a stink with the dealership ever since ---- I am waiting to hear back from them ----- I have asked if Audi would pay for new pads to be installed by someone other than the Audi dealer. (And using different pads - the rotors should be fine - ?). If not - well then I'll pay for that myself. But guaranteed, I will not buy another Audi.
