I enjoy reading these posts. I know what all you guys are going through I waited exactly 2.5 months from the time I signed to the time I started the engine and drove out I thought I was impatient. But not...

On the good note, I just got confirmation from my dealer that my Audi is scheduled to be in Halifax on Nov 15th, departure from Germany on Nov 3rd. Then it takes around 10 days to rail it to Toronto. So I'm still on schedule for end of November - as it was estimated originally.
Ordered Aug 12th, so if all works as planed - it will be 3.5m waiting.... Still not bad, but earlier in the year Q5s were holding 2.5m waiting period.

I ordered mine on Aug 17. Leaving Germany on Nov. 3rd to reach Halifax on the 15th. It should reach Montreal about 7 days after that, which coincides exactly with my birthday. That will be the gift to beat this year!

You guys are making me jealous. Won't see my Q5 until spring but that didn't stop me from investigating winter tire packages that I won't need for at least a year. How sad is that!!!

Ahead of schedule!!!
Picked up my Q5 this past Thursday. It arrived at Audi Downtown Toronto on the previous Wednesday (Feb. 2nd). I ordered on Oct 21st and at that time the dealership gave me a delivery date of Feb. 28th.
The wait was worth it. I had forgotten how nice it looks.
That drive back up to Ottawa was extremely enjoyable.
Now spending time sitting in the Q5 in my garage with the owners manual. These first few days of discovery are such a treat.
