Absolutely. Was this line not on your invoice? I'm not sure what you mean by the "print out spec sheet label."

The label that they stick on the inside of the window when they are trying to sell a car. It has the VIN, options, price, fuel mileage info, and the pricing info before fees and HST.

The dealer has called me and they have confirmed they simply made a mistake and will recalculate to refund me some money.
Hope anyone else out there who ordered a premium or base model in Canada around October reads this post, check the trim right away, if it is INLAY MICROMETALLIC PLATINUM -$400.00, before you leave the dealership make sure they adjust the original price you agreed on to reflect this change!

I have ordered the "Decorative burr walnut inserts" on a 2.0T Premium Plus, which were a $500 upgrade above the standard inserts. If a $400 credit is being applied for not providing the "Inlay Micrometallic Platinum," should the upgrade only be $100? Or am I dreaming?

Quartz52 is right on the credit, you should not have to speak up. The dealer can get into some serious doodoo from Audi Canada for not passing along the credit. It is a management's responsibility to inform the salespeople of the credit having to be passed down.

Re: Premium plus 2011 2.0T Q5 silver interior Trim question
I actually see a number of changes in the specifications (on the Audi Canada website) for the Q5 2.0T Premium Plus between when I ordered and now.
Features offered in Sept. 2010 but no longer mentioned:
Features offered now that were not mentioned in Sept. 2010:
I already know the adaptive headlights should never have appeared there (but they were one of the specifications at the time). It looks like decorative aluminum was upgraded to micrometallic platinum, which is now not available.
Has anyone picking up their Q5 lately had the color driver information system? Is this the one in the instrument cluster, or the large one on the console? I did not opt for the navigation system.

Yes they are the trims used around the large areas of the dash and doors like you specified. If you ordered wood trim ,
regarding the credit, not sure. But I don't think it will make sense if you get any credit because you ordered a wood trim option.
While in my case, I opted for the regular equipment, and instead of standard aluminum trim got silver plastic trim.

Is this "Inlay Micrometallic Platinum" used in the large area locations above the glovebox, around the gearshift console, and on the doors just behind the door-handles?

That's too bad. I really liked the aluminum look. Will receive my Q5 in March, so I am assuming I'll have plastic trim too. Would be nice to hear this from the dealer though.

Re: Premium plus 2011 2.0T Q5 silver interior Trim question
I found this discussion forum when 'Google-ing' Q5 interior images trying to decide between tan or cinnamon brown leather. Tons of great information and discussions on this site.
I recently ordered a Q5 2.0T Premium Plus a couple of weeks ago (WTF - May delivery?!). Went with brown exterior and the tan... I would love to have seen a Q5 with the cinnamon in-person as all the photos/discussions indicate it may be more orange vs. a rich brown. Seems like a love/hate thing.
However, back to this post. At the dealership, the sales guy showed us the paint and leather samples for our order along with a piece of aluminum that would be in our car. It was indeed the Aluminum Dimension Silver (ADS) trim. I will be quite angry if I end up getting a plastic substitute. As someone mentioned in a previous post, the Audi.ca does list "Micrometallic Platinum trim" in the interior specifications list. However, the downloadable Q5 brochure on the same site still lists ADS (with a picture) and no mention of the Micrometallic trim. Combined with the sales rep actually breaking out a sample piece of the ADS trim, it would be quite misleading.
I have an A3 S-Line and I love the aluminum trim in it (understanding of course my Q5 aluminum will be non-S-Line (or at least should be)). Hopefully they have figured out the supply issues and this will be a non-event for me.

Get it in writing. If your signed order contract doesn't specify ADS, any future misunderstanding(s) may be difficult to adjust with Audi. At the very least, get an email exchange with your dealer outlining that you were shown the ADS and thus rightfully expect that in your Q5.
