^^ yep, this. When I was swapping my summers off I just used the same studs to put my winters on... they are longer, and the way the OEM wheel is configured in such a way that the head of the bolt is closer to the hub. It allowed the longer bolt to go in way further than it was supposed to and jamb up the hubs somehow.

Crazy. I'm very impressed you were able to solve this issue. I NEVER would have suspected an issue with the incorrect lug bolts. You are to be commended!

Yeah I was totally baffled, nothing came up on google or on the forums for this either

I knew it had to do with the rims, but they were the OEM rims so that ruled out stuff like caliper clearance and fitment issues. I also wasn't able to budget the tire when I jacked up one side which ruled out drive line issues.

It clicked after about 45 minutes of pure frustration when I remembered the new rims came with studs... sure enough pulled one out and compared it with the OEM stud and saw immediately one was much longer.
