When the car is warm (normal operating temp) I am idling at 700 on the dot. Can someone with a 3.2 confirm if this is normal or a sign of possible injection leaking? I must add that I never have issues tarting the car, no jerking or vibration.

Thank you.

I have a 2010 Q5 with 3.2 engine. 700 idling is about right when everything is normal , except in my case once in a while when I started the car it only rev up to 400 or so thus making the engine shaking and it wanted to die - it was diagnosed as fuel injector leaking. After fixing 2 months ago, it has never been rev to 400. All this only happen when I start the car.

Thanks for confirming Eddie, this is good information. So based on this info I don't have the issue but I will certainly keep my eyes open for the symptoms.
