So I got lucky and didn't have to wait the two weeks. Apparently they had the part in stock for another customer who had the same problem but that customer was out of town for a month so they fixed my car first. Got it done on Thursday, all is well again!

Weird.........my best friends A-6 and my 2010 Q-5 both had the DRL passenger side go out in the same week! Off to service where they admit it's a known issue.

Yep........in and out in 30 mins all is good now. The service guy said it's a known issue but easier to fix on the Q5 vs my friends 2010 A-6 which took 2.5 hrs.

I don't think the actual LED light is being replaced. Seeing how they did this in 30 minutes, I think it's either a fuse or a bad socket. To change the LED's the entire light bulb housing needs to be removed which requires bumper removal which takes at least 1-1.5 hours. But I am glad to hear it's a quick and easy fix.

Ok...this is exactly what the work order reads:
Customer notes Right DRL out.
Verified customer complaint found Right DRL INOP. Swapped DRL Control Module from Right to left fault moved with DRL Control Module.
Replaced DRL Controls Modules with new. Checked for function
All ok Km's out etc.
