Hahahah, deal is almost done, new owner picking up my truck Thursday then off to the dealer. I will provide some details when the deal is done. I will need winter wheels and tires. I have sourced a set of TT replicas here in 18", I did not get the offset and backspace but I assume the parts guy at the volkswagen dealer looked up specs for sq5. Michelin x ice 2 I believe he said. $2000 mounted and balanced. When I asked my salesman, he thought right around 3 grand through them. So will these look good? I really do not want to start a wheel and tire thread but would love any input specific to my inquiries. Thanks, can't wait to put that hp to the ground.

Not at all actually, I was given over the internet a 5% off from MarkMotors in Ottawa. So I did want to give my local dealer a chance, and staight off I presented them the 5% discount, they said that it was a fair negociation and from there we went. They have 9 to 10% of leaway for negociation.

Ok so I know there is hours of reading about wheel and tire fitment, long story short, I want to pick this up Friday or Saturday and do not have a lot of time to search for wheel and tire prices. The dealer has quoted me 3200 plus gst for a set of 19's. If anyone can assure me of what size will fit over the calipers easily let me know. I will continue reading, just wanted to reach out to the community for advice. Usually better info from a forum then the local parts counter.... Thanks guys.

The most detailed written information I've seen specific to SQ5 is from the German site. The Canadian and US sites have the same watered-down "combined" Q5/SQ5 brochure that gives limited information and leaves you guessing for winter tires on SQ5. BTW the UK site is amazing for all accessories and some packages unavailable here. In the German SQ5 manual (download at http://www.audi.de/content/dam/ngw/p...1133_26_00.pdf), the winter wheel/tire package is on page 25 of the pdf and is 19" rims with 235/55 R 19 tires. Others here also report good experience with 20" in winter conditions. At 19" or over you clear the calipers.

The Hartmann wheels fit really nice and actually have more caliper clearance compared to my factory 20 inch wheels.

I was worried about clearance too, but after speaking with the guys at RPI Equipped and learning that they have test fitted their wheels to the SQ5, I went ahead with confidence in my purchase. I opted for 20's. They rock.
I'm sure your dealer will ensure the wheels you purchase through them will fit the vehicle.

Well, got the deal done last evening. Delivery this afternoon on a 2014 SQ5 monsoon grey, navi, 21"'s, carbon inlays. Went with 19" winter wheel package from the dealer.

I also went for 21 and 19. The drive at 19 is incredible in winter conditions. What tires are you getting?
