Default Discount on 2014 SQ5

Hey fellas, I'm a new member to the site. I was wondering what a fair offer is on a 2014 in stock SQ5? I have the car cost canada report on the identical model in stock. If anyone has anything to add I would appreciate it. I want to make a fair deal, just don't know what is fair. 3% over invoice 4%?? Or a dollar amount??
Thanks for the help

Dana

The four Audi dealers in the Vancouver area can't keep SQ5's on the lot, so we're not seeing discounts here. However, in more general terms, if you happen to be at the dealer on the last day of the month, they may have sales quotas to hit for factory incentives. Also, a demo model (or manager driven model) can sometimes be had for a bit of a discount, but may have 1,000+ kms on it. I was fortunate enough to be offered the sales manager's model that he had been driving around. It had (almost) exactly the specs I wanted and I was able to avoid a 3+ month wait time.

Someone from Edmonton may have better insight, but I would be very surprised if you could pick one up below full sticker price.

Note: Audi will sometimes throw in the Audi Care ($750 value) if you negotiate.

BTW - you may want to post this question in the Q5 discussion section, as there are many SQ5 owners active there.

I'd be surprised to hear if they even bargained with you. Never hurts to try, I suppose.

FTR: I paid full price when I put my cash down on the order. Got $1000 back in loyalty money, but that was it.

No discount on mine either... Was able to get a $500 off because I date an Audi owner but that's it.

Agree with Cooper, this may be more of a "Q5-Q7" subforum question? Anyways see thread "Negotiating New Q7" by Nicolas. You forget the sting once you drive it...

So, $1000 for being a previous owner of an Audi…
$500 off for dating one…
What do you get if you "did it" with an Audi owner? $100? Worth a shot.

Hahahah, deal is almost done, new owner picking up my truck Thursday then off to the dealer. I will provide some details when the deal is done. I will need winter wheels and tires. I have sourced a set of TT replicas here in 18", I did not get the offset and backspace but I assume the parts guy at the volkswagen dealer looked up specs for sq5. Michelin x ice 2 I believe he said. $2000 mounted and balanced. When I asked my salesman, he thought right around 3 grand through them. So will these look good? I really do not want to start a wheel and tire thread but would love any input specific to my inquiries. Thanks, can't wait to put that hp to the ground.

Audi is a tough brand to negotiate, they do have a supplier discount if you happen to work for a company on that list.

I know in Calgary both dealerships are owned by the same person, they pretty much don't negotiate at all because they know they don't have to. You may have more luck in Vancouver.

As for the SQ5 and other premium models in high demand, I doubt you will get anything on it just because demand outstrips supply.

Lots of discussion around this on the SQ5 wheel thread already. Personally, I would go minimum 19" on the SQ5, preferably 20". I'm afraid 18" are going to look awfully small.
