I have a chance to buy a Q5 demo with 6K , fully loaded with 3.2 S line, drive select, nav., B&O, blk pearl. Dealer price, total in = 69K.
I'm smitten.
Fair/reasonable? or should I be looking for more of a discount/ hammer them for price?

mine was 2011 model, with everything you said, 62k....and it was brand new

I guess with the demo purchase, you saved the 2.5months of waiting time

I will try another dealer. I can live with 5 months wait...something to look forward to.

 

I have a 3.2 Premium in Lava over Cinnamon with Sline, B&O and adaptive headlights. Suprisingly, it is still available and it's brand new. MSRP on it is $64,865 all in.

 

I think you need to PM afretes and make a deal?

 

I forgot to factor in the 2k that I put down originally, so 64k altogether.

I was around 62k for the same options, except a 2.0t including the audi care front windows and sunroof tinting.

You should be paying no more than around 65 for a car with drive select. Talk to Alex, you should be able to negotiate a nice deal on the the vehicle he has on his lot.

 

Don't forget the dreaded provincial sales tax or harmonized tax in Ontario. Add another 8% of tax on top if you were to buy in Ontario
AB: $64K = ON: $68.9

So if the car were brand new, then the purchase price would be $69K in Ontario. A demo with 6K should not cost the same as a new car. Which dealer is this? May I ask?

 

This is way too much for a demo car as previously stated. 64k is what I paid on the road very similar car.
