I looked and I looked there is no button on the wiper's control side or the wiper's control itself either.
Are we looking at the same car Q7? How can it be so hidden

You are looking on the underside of the windshield wiper stalk?

It's in the same place on both my Q5 and TTS even though it's a different model and part. In this picture of the windshield wiper stalk in my Q5, the button is labelled "RESET".

For interest's sake, the up/down toggle button on the end of the stalk allows you to cycle through the different options in the DIS menu.

ok I have a reset button on the dash, pressing it just resets the trip meter.

Not on the dash. That reset button is just for the odometer trip meter. It should be on the underside on the wind shield wiper stalk.

Nope no button as per picture
I'm puzzled, dealer said they might need to program it with 5051 to get it to show, not sure what that is or what is 5051
