Default Audi Q5 2011 LCD oil level ordeal resulting in $7k of work

Feeling extremely ripped off by Speedy Auto service. My wife bought this car from a premium used car dealer, and paid $2k for extended warranty.

We started getting low oil readings on the lcd display under car options. It said it needed to be filled with less than 2 litre. So I measured 750ml and filled it. Checked LCD again after a bit and said Max. We dont drove the car much, its a second car and I am retired, so it sits in parking most of the time. (Most of the tome the LCD would say no information available)

A few days later, took it out and checked oil again after driving a while, found that it said oil level was low again. (These cars don't come witj dipsticks to check manually.)

Took it to warranty authorized Speedy Auto, they told us to leave oy there and they would check it. They didnt check the oil level for us on the spot. Few days later, they confirmed thete were no leaks, and engine was probably burning oil inside. They said they had to change the oil gasket and send the engine head to be machined.

2 weeks later, Speedy called us, said car was repaired. Warranty covered $4k of $5k so we were on hook for remaining $1k. All parts were less then $1k, and rest was all labour.

Pickup car, LCD Oil was Max, drove to buy groceries, were out for an hour, drove maybe 30 minutes total, and LCD oil was low again. Drove back to Speedy again.

Next day, they said they left it idling all day, and said there was no leaks, that oil was fine.

We took it home, parked it for a few days, then went out for a drive, now the AC is completely dead, and LCD oil is low again. Took it back to them again. They said the AC blowing was just fluke, because idling all day wouldnt kill it.

This time, they replaced a cap for oil, a sensor for oil, and both the AC blower motor and Resistor. Another $2k in repairs, warranty only covered half. So another $1k out of pocket.

We are now $7k in repairs, after 1 month of service.

LCD oil was showing 80% full at pickup.
Drove car home. Parked. Few hours later, drove car and again the LCD oil display is showing low oil!!

I just started getting angry at this point. Drove back to Speedy Auto again, and said the same isdue we came to them for a month ago, after $7k of work and we still have the same issue still...

After turning the car off a few minutes, and starting it agsin, the LCD Pil level was showing max again.

At this point, their answer to me was, well dont trust the LCD oil reading, just ignore it, its alwsys wrong. As long as the real low oil light on the dash by the speedometer doesnt come on, its ok. Told us to buy a dip stick for it.

This seems completely messed up to me. Is this normal with these LCD oil readings?

I feel like if this was the case, why didnt they tell us the first time we came in that the LCD was just known to be buggy and to ignore it, instead of spending a month wasting our time and money, blowing out our AC in the process, and charging $7k in parts and labour, to just come to the conclusion that the LCD is just buggy.

Also, now they are saying there are several more problems we should fix. The axel boot is leaky, the level sensor is broken off the bottom of the car and would need to be welded back on, a rocker pin is broken, and the transmissuon shows signs of leaks.

I am just so angry now and stressed over this entire ordeal, and I am at a loss for closure now.

My wife has had enough and decided that she wants to get rid of the car now and finance a new model of a different non-luxury Asian brand, like Toyota or Honda instead.
