Does anyone know when the new 2013 Audi Q5 will be available in Canada and What are the new design on it.

 

It still nobody knows because the renewed facelift model comes out in September or October (for Europa market)

I like the headlights. I wonder if we can retro fit it onto our current model.

 

New model will have a slightly changed grill and bumper, can't fit the headlights.

 

I'm hearing that the 3.2 is now deleted and the 3.0 supercharged engine will be available. TDI possibly when the update hits later in 2013.

 

That makes sense. The 3.0 engine is a very popular and incredibly well made engine. They're using it on the S4, A6, A7 and Q7 of course on each car it's tuned differently with different HP and Torque with the S4 having the most at the moment.

It's a FANTASTIC engine specially if it's paired with the DSG tranny.

 

At least there won't be the injector issue with the supercharged engine according to the service dept here in Royal Oak.

 

I contacted Audi Talk in regards to the updated Q5 with the 3.0 engine and they said, "We can confirm that the 3.0 supercharged engine will be available in early 2013 for the 2013 Q5."

This is a very exciting engine. Audi has had it for some time on the S4, A6, Q7 and recently on the A7 and the S5 cab. Next year the S5 is also getting this engine and to my surprise, this engine is going on the A8 next year. It's one engine but the horse power is tuned differently varies between 300-333 but I am sure for the Q5 they will tone it down with the potential of getting it chipped all the way up close to 400 HP which wont' surprise me.

It's a FANTASTIC engine. I can't say this enough.
