True but there is a big misconception that Q5 and Tiguen are based on the same platforms but the Q5 sits on A5 and shares nothing with VW totally different but at the end of the day most Audi profits end up with VW so...

I think if you're referring to the premium 2011 V6 the price should be the same as 2010 if not about 1900 dollars cheaper because the tech package is now included but afretes can confirm.

I think Audi is including the tech package in the premium now so it'll be 1900 cheaper but afretes can probably comment better.

My feeling is that the price will go up, mainly because of the tech pkg being included. It's though to say.

i think they are not releasing the price because if they release it and it costs the same or less for a 2011 prem. Q5 3.2 then it will hinder the 2010 Q5 from selling and they will be left with inventory.

Conversely, if the 2011 cost more, then that would put a demand on the 2010 model and they would clear up any existing inventory in Germany of the 2010 and/or create a further backorder.

It would make sense that Audi would prefer the later scenario. My guess is the price is lower and Audi does not want to release the price just yet to avoid the first scenario.
