Tuning a 1993 Audi 90 Quattro?
Curious to hear if anybody bothers tuning these cars.
I have a good looking and clean running 6-cyl 5-speed 90 Quattro that I'm pretty happy with but wondering if I can get much more out of the car...
Advice, suggestions, success or horror stories?

Hey, I've changed out my stock air filter for a K&N unit. It seems to run a little smoother.
I also ordered a performance chip from ebay that makes a lot of absurd promises, like an increase of 62+ hp and dramatic encreases in fuel economy, but it received some good reviews anyways.
Looking into cold-air, turbo and exhaust options, but that will be for later, and maybe some performance cams? Anyone got any ideas or connections?
If I see much better performance from the chip, I'll let you know (or if it blows up my car, lol).
Also looking for a tasteful ground effects kit and some replacement aluminum pedals.

I'm not quite ready to change out the motor, but thanks, I'll bank that idea for later.
As it turns out, there's a sucker born every day (my day was last week sometime, lol). I have not yet received my "performance chip" but did some research after ordering it. This so-called performance chip is a resistor that fits between the O2 sensor and the computer and tricks the enging into running a little leaner. The guy I talked to advised me that it could cause detonation.
Not good.
At least it only cost me about $15.
Cheers,
