Default Plasma Ignition for Audi

I had a new ignition system installed on the 2001 A4 1.8T. It has brought my car alive very smooth acceleration and improvements in gas mileage.

What exactly is different from this system to stock system? What is the difference in voltages supplied? Resistance of the wires etc?

I am not sure of the volt or current differences. The system allows you to tune the spark to the engine or tune the engine to the spark. I have found that if you tune the total spark duration around the timing you will get the best results. For my A4 lower break down current and mid range spark and plasma power make the car very smooth with more power in reserve.

You end up with more power and better fuel economy. www.spdispark.com there is lots of information on the site.

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely do some research.
I've always run taylor thundervolt wires on my cars (standard plug wires have about 5000ohms per foot of resistance needing to be replaced at between 10000 and 20000ohms per foot, and they start with only 50ohms per foot). And I was skeptical at first however my shortest wire on my ford focus registered only 32 ohms of resistance in the entire wire so they are good for their word and it has never done me wrong, though I will definitely look into these as an alternative.

I have had this system on my car now for quite some time now and I am very pleased with the system and how it works. I can tell you from first hand experience if anyone says a spark is a spark is a park, needs to try this system.
