Went to K&H Radiator in Scarborough, Ontario today and met up with Mario. He plugged in his VAG tool into my A4 and unlocked the features we all wish we had. Now I can open and close my windows with the remote, no more annoying seatbelt chime, and one touch unlock all my doors. After having this for 2 minutes I can really say that this is the way Audi's should come from the factory.

Two thumbs up for Mario and also he is an APR dealer so anyone looking for a chip go check him out. His name on Vortex is asylum. Awesome guy who knows his VAG stuff. If you guys need any VAG COM stuff done I highly recommend Mario. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Anyone can plug and tune/modify values to make your Audi/VW operate better than stock, evening tuning, anyone can plug and tune your car(s).
With little basic computer knowledge.

However, K&H isn't the best with mechanical repairs on VW/Audi cars, at least not with my GTI... they did the timing tensioner job, and never bothered to replace the timing chain, and timing components, infact mario did not even mention that I should do that while doing the tensioner, fast forward many years later, another VW/Audi specialized shop asked me why I didn't change the timing chain and timing components when I got the tensioner done....

I told them K&H/Mario didn't mention that I should do the whole timing service kit, which includes the timing chain, tensioner, guide rails, etc...

So I wasted money/time/energy at K&H in 2016 with my GTI... (Audi 2.0TSI motor).

Infact, Mario will only care if he knows your through family or close friends, anyone else, he doesn't care about. It's pathetic because I paid in full, and I didn't get the VW/AUDI specialized service.

I go to Almost Racing INC in Markham, Ontario, and these guys are WAAAY better than K&H, and I would recommend ALL of you AUDI/VW owners to go to Almost Racing instead of K&H.

I do not mean to bash K&H, but I had bad experiences with K&H, and so have others, so many other shops have fixed K&H's mistakes, no one really writes about it, but I will, and I want ALL you guys to know K&H isn't really VW/AUDI specialized. Mario isn't a licensed mechanic, he owns the shop because of his family, and he hires shop guys as techs to fix your cars....

Mario is only good for TUNING and tweaking (VAGCOM) your Audi/VW/Porsche.
Anything hardware related, I would stay 1,000FT away from going to this shop for hardware mods.

The car scene knows about horror stories that happened at K&H.

I believe K&H has gotten a little better, but I would never go back...

Please keep this post up.... it will save a lot of people time/money/energy.
