Default engine and tranny mount?

hey guys hoping you might have the answere

can s4 or rs4 engine and tranny mounts fit the a4 and if so are they any stiffer?

I know that RS4 will fit the A4 engine mounts, but the S4 is just a bit better than the A4's so most people go with the rs4 mounts for the engine. Tranny I dont know!

A quick call to a dealer parts dept will verify your answer for you.

FWIW, 034 Motorsports has Street Density and Track Density solid rubber engine mounts, meaning they are not gel filled like OEM. They are a bit stiffer and subtly transfer a little more vibration.

On my B5 S4, I'm running 034 Street engine mounts with RS4 solid rubber trans mounts and couldn't be happier.
