Ok, took my car in the other day to have a look see y she was misfiring, 2 weeks later i get it back from the shop, as soon as i get in and start it my traction control light was on and abs light.... so as u can imagine, bringing the car there with it being fine and now it's not kinda pissed me off. SO i decide, it's ok i jsut want to drive it, havnt gotten to drive her all winter, so i take it down the street, to see how it's running. Before i could even think of opening it up, i look in the rearview and i'm billowing smoke out the back, and i mean badly, almost like when i blew a turbo but not as thick. Definately oil burning. Anyway she's staying there until this whole situation is resolved. now to my question. I was talking to the mechanic and he said my car is chipped, i've never driven another s4 and i was told it was stock... now i have no idea what kind, or anything, what program etc.

I have one of those cheap ebay obd2 diagnostic cables, is there any way that i can see what chip or download the ecm?
and if that's possible is there anything i can do to remap for k04's?
