What cars were your previous ones? I have a manual A4 3.0L as well and find there is plenty of low end torque, so having a manual for city traffic isn't an issue.

 

my last car was a 92 mitsubish eclipse turbo with a few mods. thats not the point though, what i meant is it sucks having to change gears all the time and be clutching in stop and go traffic.
back to the thread at hand.... ill be doing a s/c setup near the end of the year. I'll post a build log when i do

 

Here's a thread bump for ya. This isn't a forum I go on much anymore, but I remembered this thread. So a few months ago I got in touch with JHMotorsports about getting something in the works for the 3.0 guys. If you want details you can check out the forum we started entirely for this project.

a few cliff notes:

-The tune makes an auto 3.0 faster than a 6spd stage 2+ 1.8T

-TCU tune is coming soon for auto guys, 6spd guys will get more power out of the tune due to the torque converter in the TIP cars

-downpipes and intake spacers are coming soon as well

I checked out your the review on the audirevolution site. NICE! Looks like this is what i have been looking for. Everything you say about the stock 3.0...so true. Please keep me in mind when they start selling.

 

Great! Glad people can appreciate it, put a lot of time into getting familiar with my car before and after the ECU upgrade. I'll be posting a thread about it in the b6 forum once the product hits the shelves. Trying to get JHM a bit more recognized up north, no one local to me seems to have even heard of them
