Default Visiting this forum for some discussion on a 1987 Audi 4000

Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying I am glad to have found your forum. I am an avid forum member on a few Oldsmobile Forums, so I am new here, but not to the forums. I am using the same username here as I do on the Olds forums as well to help verify my validity in dealing with other online forum members.
The reason for my visit is this, my father has a 1987 Audi 4000 sitting in his garage. It was mom's car for about 5 or 6 years. She was the second owner I believe. She bought it in '88 or '89 I think. As said, she drove it for 5 or 6 years. Then it had some exhaust issues and dad got stubborn and parked it " 'cause them foreign car parts are too damned expensive!" I believe were his words at the time...lol
So it has sat for around 10 or 11 years, possibly a couple more.
The car is in very good condition as far as the body, undercarriage, and interior go.
He (or we) have not tried to start it or anything, but it does have to be removed from his garage, so this is why I thought I would join your forum.
I guess I would have to advertise it in the for sale forum, and I will do that, but I just thought that I needed to explain my existence here I guess....lol
