Thought this to be the best place to post my question.... I have a 1992 URS4, and would like to fit some 17" Mille Miglia wheels, I would like to retain stock ride height, and would like to fill the wheel well, so far, I have liked the idea of a 235/50r17 on there... Any comments? And yes, I know they are ruff, but I will be getting them refinished, flat black?

 

The 235/50-17 is 1.4" taller than the original, so it would actually raise the car by half that.

I would go with a 45 series tire or you might have interference issues.
YMMV, I don't know what's been fitted to urS4s in the past, but that would seem to be too much of a change, it would certainly throw off your speedometer and make your car accelerate slower. Wouldn't help your brakes or ABS function either, amongst other things.

 

Yeah I've already done the 45 series thing, and I really don't care for the ride, at all... that and Calgary potholes are only so forgiving
I also like the stock ride height, easier to get in and out at my 2 meters

 

You can go a lot wider on your S4....try a 255/45/17

 

Went with the 235 45 17, then upgraded again to a 19, 255 35 tires, against all the advice I was given...

I like the 17s....are those Mille Miglia wheels??

But I gotta tell you those 19's are BUTT UGLY, they should be on an Impala with hydrolics.

Yeah the 17's are Miglia's, I sand blasted, etched and splashed them in Charcoal met Endura! As for the 19's, I personally liked them They were different to anything I have seen any Audi rolling on, in person they give the car some flare!
