Category: Clean Title
Status: Import
I have a 1987 Audi 4000 for sale, in Toronto - GTA.
Mileage: 110,000km
Engine Size: 5 cyl
Asking price is $Best Offer
Hello everyone,
The reason for my visit is this, my father has a 1987 Audi 4000 sitting in his garage. It was mom's car for about 5 or 6 years. She was the second owner I believe. She bought it in '88 or '89 I think. As said, she drove it for 5 or 6 years. Then it had some exhaust issues and dad got stubborn and parked it " 'cause them foreign car parts are too damned expensive!" I believe were his words at the time...lol
So it has sat for around 10 or 11 years, possibly a couple more.
The car is in very good condition as far as the body, undercarriage, and interior go.
He (or we) have not tried to start it or anything, but it does have to be removed from his garage, so this is why I thought I would join your forum.
What I do know about the car...
5 cylinder engine, not sure which one though...
Automatic trans
Sun roof
Heated seats
Four door
Very good condition cosmetically, has only one small rust spot showing on body panels
the interior is in very good condition
Hasn't run in many years (probably 10, give or take a year or two)
We may get it running soon if possible, I just wanted to see if there was any interest in it before dad puts it on kijij for some teenager to destroy it. I actually wish I had the need for a fourth vehicle, because I do believe it can be a real nice car for a small investment of time, money and good old elbow grease.
I am in London Ontario, and can be contacted by PM or email if anyone is interested in coming to see it. I will also try to get some pictures of it as soon as he gets all of the "garage shyte" out of the way...lol
Weekends would be best to show it. Wednesdays usually would work too.

Sounds nice, pics would help immensely. I would defintely try to get it running beforehand (if it were mine) as that will make the car worth a bit more to potential buyers, especially given the low mileage. The Inline 5 motors are pretty bulletproof and a good start for any project. (too bad it's an auto though, but that can be rectified...)
