New from Calgary
Hi everyone,
I'm Carl and just bought my first Audi from Glenmore Audi 2 weeks ago. Live in the deep south of Calgary.
It was strange how it happened, had a 2003 Nissan Altima at the time, and the wife just got a promotion at work and mentioned it was about time I traded mine in.
Searched dealers and sites for ages and went from a Nissan 350z, Infiniti G37, Lexus 250/350, Bmw 3 and 5 Series, to Acura Type-S TL and then one day the A4 caught my eye, so off we went on a Saturday to Glenmore Audi, with the intention of driving the Infiniti G35 and a 5 series BMW as well. The A4 we drove blew me away, nippy, felt solid, accessories positioned nice, great handling. Our salesman did the usual and tried to close the deal but I insisted I wanted to drive the G35 and the 525 as well. As it turns out I thought the G35 was tacky, felt cheap inside in comparison and the 525 while a really nice looking vehicle imo, was severely underpowered and I hated the iguide. Call me old school but give me buttons to press any day, it took too long to switch the radio on.
So, after getting back home, I looked around again, and noticed the 07 Red A4 which caught my eye earlier was priced a lot lower than the window sticker. So I called them up first thing on the Monday, test drove it and the rest is history.
Look forward to getting involved on the forums.
