Re: New Audi owner and already need help!!
So after some back and forth and having an Audi Canada rep drive my car for a week it has finally been approved to have the pistons and rings changed. Audi has had my car for just over 2 weeks now and now are going to order the parts to have the repairs done. At least I was provided a loaner car from Audi during the time they've had my car. I hope this helps out anyone else having this issue.

Hi AjaxAudi,
I think you are one of the lucky ones, as I was not so lucky. Audi Corporate does not want to approve the changes to my car, and now my car has become more damaged. I would highly suggest selling that car FAST, as my problems have escalated to the point that my car is now parked and will require $7,000 in repairs. I am suing Audi Canada and hopefully there can be a proper class action suit put forth.

@Torontoyes,
I'm sorry to hear about your problems, at first Audi Canada didn't want to fix mine either but the assistant service manager at Uptown Audi in Markham helped convince them that it was burning way too much oil and that they should have a look. It took the Audi Canada rep a week of driving my car to see that the oil light comes on after about 600 km after an oil change and that's when they agreed to look at it and do a couple of more tests. Only after those tests they agreed to change the pistons. I also had all of the service history on the car which may have helped with the process.
I wish you good luck and I hope they fix what they have admitted is their issue.
