Arrow Audi A6 4.2L 2001 - In Montreal

Hi everybody,

A6 4.2 here, having a few problems with my TCM (water got in it), Reverse works perfectly but it starts in third gear (safe mode), not sure if the problem is just the TCM or if it damaged the transmission :-S

I love the car, hopefully i'll find usefull information here

If anyone lives in montreal and had this problem, drop me a line. Your experience could probably save me alot of money/headaches.

Thanks !

Jeremi

It should be local damage to the TCM only, find yourself a replacement unit. See if the dealer has any known good ones that they are willing to try, or even better a local forum member that could help out.
