Default Winter Tires for 2013 TTS?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me pick some winter tires for the Greater Toronto area
My dealership says I need 18" tires, to ensure theres no rubbing
I've called a couple of other dealers in town and they all offer the Audi winter pkg of 17" tires (dunlop)

outside of the dealers, Simply Tires has quoted me for 17" hankooks + wheels-grt price
but Maxim tires also suggesting 18" tires.

I'm pretty confused why the 17" won't work and wondering if they're all FOS and just trying to upsell?
there's no TPMS on this car

thanks!

try tirerack(dot)com for the info about different fits possibe with your model and year.
I do not buy from them because the custom and delivery fees are insane.

17's will work I too have been running 17's for this winter and I have no problem. although I have a TT VR6 our brakes are the same size.
I think the reason companies say to get the 18's is A. they cost you more lol. B. the 17's are tight around the brakes.
Good luck hope you found some rims
