Hello,

I interested in getting a 2000 Audi TT that is AWD in 5spd. I noticed that it doesn't have an esp button the dash compared to the 2001 that I looked at.

Does the 2000 TT have any sort of traction aid? Being an AWD car i'm assuming there might be something that controls the wheels in the event one slips.

The TT you are looking at may have been an early model that was released before the recall Audi announced after a number of high-speed accidents. This recall was done in late 1999 early 2000. Later models came with a rear hatch spoiler and ESP to address the safety concerns.
