I got a 20.00 ebay one and connected it to a cheap tablet i had with a serial port. It works amazing on my 2001 s4, and i read codes for any friends who have vw's and audis. Works on my friends 2004 a4.

I too am looking for a Vag-com cable for a 2008 TT, 2.0 FSI? I really do not want to pay $400. I looked at a few sites but it seems complicated, Ebay has several but they seem to be v409 - they indicate v805 is required for vehicles after 2007?

Any help pls.

I noticed on Ecutool.com that they have the Revo software with their vag-com. I trust this is a proper license? Does this mean I can do the vag-com stuff and adjust ecu settings instead of a GIAC or APR? Exciting but I don't want to screw up either??

Does anyone have experience with this?
