I changed my odometer by accident to kilometer from miles and I have no idea how to change it back

I was following that page and I went in to 17 then tired to find group 22 but somehow group 2 or 3 came up and changed to km any ideas? thx for the help!

 

Yup, I assume you used a vag-com? you messed up the coding. Do you know what the current coding is in there? do you have internet available on the vag-com computer? I can do it for you remotly as it is kind of tough to explain what you did.

 

my og code was 02242 and I had changed it to 02042 and it went to kilos then I changed it back I realized I coded it wrong. My main focus is to remove the annyoing door chime and I am trying to program my fob but cant seem to get the central locking controller to respond. I live in an apt and my wifi doesnt work outside that far. There isnt any networks that work outside either.

 

In Module 17 please change your coding to 00242, you will get what you want.

Hi< need help here...I have a 2001 A8L. Have 409.1 Vag Com version and ebay cable. I used this cable this year on a 2003 A4 and it worked fine. Now for some reason I can't get it to work, I have the ports matched and it syas that the interface is found. All is ok. But when I go into the Instrument cluster to enable DRL it tries for a while then the infamous" No controller Response" I have no idea why, this worked perfectly fine on the 2003 A4 this summer.
The 2001 A8L should be the same, no??? Please any help at all, I tried this on a Vista and XP machine.

OK so now i am able to connect, but the one thing I can;t do is get into the 09- Central Electric Moduel with my VagCom, I can get into everything else, do a scan, change my tranny code, etc... but for some reason can;t get into centr. electric. I can get into the Xenon Headlight range, so is there another way to get into this so I can change the coding to ENABLE my Day Time Running Lights? Any idea,? Options Please???

What exactly are you trying to change in the 09 Electrical Control section? DRL?
