JUkebox import - preparing medium, please wait....

I am trying to import music from a SD card to the Jukebox. Once I select the SD card as the source I get a message stating that the medium is being prepared for import, please wait.

Question is, how long does this take? I have a decent SD card with a a little over a Gig in ~165 songs. Am I just impatient?
