Default Timing Chain Tensioner procedure

Have a 2007 Audi A6 C6 with a 3.2 l engine and have to replace the upper timing chain tensioner on the passenger's side. Want to insert the audi tool to hold the crankshaft at TDC into the port provided on the drivers side. I can see the port from underneath but can't get my hand in there to remove the plug. Sway bar and engine mount is in the way.

Does anyone know how to insert this tool without pulling the engine?
