I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I just want an opinion, do you think these look good? Parts4Euro.com | * HELIX S5 Style LED Ecode Projector Headlights for B5 & B6 A4, S4 *
So if I were to get the HID Kits, what should I look for as far as the housing is concerned? Just a stock looking Helix housing?

Headlight styles are basically personal preference. As long as HID's (IMO) are encased in projector housing, you should be ok. I also believe that you will get the most output out of the HID's with projector headlights anyways. Plus your chances of blinding (and annoying) oncoming drivers are far less with a properly aimed projectors. Check out the DIY link on the bottom of my signature. Click the "HERE" links on top of the first page to see deals on projector housing!

EDIT: I just saw how much they wanted for those headlights, $359.99!!! Man, they are expensive! The ones I have on looks stock and they only cost me $189 +shipping and duties which came out to like $225. If I could do it all over again, I think I would've gotten the blacked out ones though.

Default VVME HID Kits

High Intensity Discharge Kit most popularly known as VVME HID Kits is used to improve their light output of vehicles

these days. HID kits are installed to replace the existing Halogen bulbs or fog lights with the Xenon Arch Head lamps as the

light output after installing HID kit is 2 to 3 times more than the standard halogen lights. Apart from the glaring factor,

HID kit is also used because it consumes less power as compared to the halogen lights.
HID kit consists of HID bulbs & HID ballasts to be installed in the existing halogen headlamp; some of the HID kits available

are Plug-n-Play while some others come with adapters. HID Kit is used for brighter light output. HID Kit that gives the

factory OEM look and is easy to install is mostly preferred. HID kit is available for different vehicles & is also available

in different colors. Different HID kits are available with color temperatures that varies from 2000k to 14000k, color

temperature relate to the color of the light output.

The Quattro we have now is using a kit from VVME, and the quality (IMO) are comparable to the DDM's. I decided to purchase through VVME because DDM was backlogged at the time. Plus VVME gave me a great deal and shipped faster (and cheaper) than DDM Tuning.
+1 on the VVME. Ran those for 5 years on my volvo and now have them on my s4 and pilot (lows and fogs make cottage runs more interesting lol)
