direct buy??
Agreed, I heard there is this big buy in fee, and they only sell crap thats 3-5 years old and nobody sells anywhere. And the stuff they do sell for example faucets and things are marked up more then home depot but they go under the assumption that youa re getting the best deal with them.
I think some show like consumer reports researched this place a while back.
Supposedly the bottom line was you can get some good deals, lots of the time they are more expensive AND you have to pay membership. Apparently if its a big renovation you can come out on top if you're careful with what you buy (or you're renovating multiple houses) but for small stuff they said to avoid it.

ya, so....say goodbye to getting the new car...say hello to mom and dad ill be back at the house until the new one is ready grrrr may 2011 lol long time too long!
I used a friends membership when I was renovating, I found that the deals were few and far between, I was happy that I wasn't paying the members fee. That being said, they certainly do have some things that are great deals, just depends on what you are buying.
