Exclamation Continuous problems with my S5

Here is my conversation wit Audi. Will you guys tell me what you think? Audi refuses to do anything about it.

I purchased the vehicle brand new and it has been giving me problems ever since. This is the second time I have tried to resolve the issue with Audi and they are not offering me anything. The first time I contacted them, it was when the engine had simply died on me while I was driving on the highway. This was after a host of problems associated with the car already. This was of a year ago, and all Audi Canada offered me in return was a voucher for $250 which till today, I still have not received. I did not ask for anything more but the car still continues to give continuous problems. The EPC light; which has to do with engine performance I am told, kept coming on and the problem could never be identified. I recently asked for an entire file on the car and the dealership did acknowledge that the file is larger than normal. Some of the problems I have had to bring the car in for are:
- engine charcoal canister valve faulty
- gas tank actuator motor for the door
- axel malfunction in wheel bearings
- brake motor having to be replaced
- gas/ air entering the engine
- Ldp pump having to be replaced
- headlights blown out
- cracks in dipstick tube pluplug
-malfunction in heating elements
- problems with locking in passenger side door
- faulty cylinder ignition coil causing cylinder misfirings
- e-brake malfunction
- foam seal having to be replaced on driver side mirror

All information can be confirmed by contacting Open Road Audi.

I am now waiting to have the car fixed again, because the driver side window is leaking when it rains. The car gets wet on the inside. I have had to bring this car in to the dealership constantly since it was delivered to me and it has been more of a burden than anything. Audi charged a lot for this car, and I paid $90,000 in full. I am very unhappy not only with the car, but also with the way Audi has dealt with the situation. The most recent dealing with Audi was an offering for $2500 off a brand new Audi which is nothing. I have also stated that the reason I purchased this Audi with this specific engine is that my father and brother were both driving Audis with the same 4.2 liter engine. A 2006 a8 purchased here in Canada and a 2012 a8 purchased in Singapore, both purchased brand new. This is the only one of which has had countless problems. I am sure this car will continue to give me as many problems as it has and soon will cost me even more to maintain, and become a huge burden. Audi refuses to do anything about this and I am simply told to keep bringing the car in as problem after problem arises.
I ask that if Audi does not agree to buy the car back, either replace the car with one with the same 4.2 liter engine, or give the the full credit I paid for the car toward a new purchase. I would however, rather be finished with Audi from here on out. My last car was a Toyota Corolla, and it did not give me a fraction of the problems this has. It also cost a fraction of the price.

To this they offer $2500 off a brand new Audi or simply extend the warranty to which I replied;

I do not think that a mere $2500 is acceptable. That is a small amount compared to what Audi charges for
vehicles and $2500 is not even the tax I had to pay. I paid $90,000 for this vehicle, and I dropped it off at
Open Road Audi again yesterday to have the windows checked because it was leaking on the driver side when
it rained, only to find a new problem. While in the car doing a test with the Audi mechanic, he noticed a clicking
noise. This has been a problem since I received the car and was previously told that Audi could not identify and
replicate the issue, and so nothing was done. It was finally acknowledged yesterday in the car with the mechanic
as he heard it himself. It is a very loud clicking noise and is definitely not just a small issue. May I repeat that this
problem has always existed and that although informed, Audi did not do anything about it saying that they could
not find the problem. I do not know how long this will take and it is only a matter of time before a new problem
arises.
The reason I asked for a replacement car with the 4.2 litre engine is that both my brother and father drive Audi's
with that specific engine. That is the reason I purchased this specific model in the first place. I understand that
Audi does not make my S5 car model with the same engine anymore, and that the Rs5 which still uses the 4.2
litre engine block is more expensive. If given the full credit, I am willing to pay the difference. I will also accept
the full credit toward a new vehicle, which I know I will have to fork up a significant amount of money for to
make up the difference, or a full buyback of the vehicle which would my preferred choice. Thank you.

What do u guys think? Am I being reasonable? I can tell ou that at this point Audi refuses to do anything about it. They told me to keep bringing it in as problem after problem arises.

I have been in the same situation with a VAG car some years ago. I was calling it the Quality Control car.

Like QC puts all the defective parts they find on a shelve and when they have enough part to build a car they do. That way they make 1 angry customer instead of multiple unhappy one.

I know, not of much help.

I've been dealing with Audi Canada and they refuse to do anything about it. I even wrote to Audi Germany. CAMVAP said that because Audi is fixing the problems as they arise they cannot do anything about it.
