Functional features

- The electronically regulated sports differential distributes the propulsive power variably between the rear wheels.

- The sports differential can establish a differential torque at the rear wheels in every driving situation (for instance including when cruising or rolling with the clutch disengaged) and therefore constitutes the high-end quattro system.

- A software algorithm is applied in calculating the optimum torque distribution at the rear wheels; this is then established hydraulically by the newly developed sports differential.
