Where is everyone getting their cars tinted and how was the experience and quality of work? What product did you end up going with?

 

Ok I'll go first. I got my Tints done on my old car from Royal Tint in Concord, On. Apparently they do all of Maranello BMW's cars. They did what I thought was a really good job. I've never got any other windows tinted so I have nothing to compare it to but 5 years later the tint still looks good with no bubbles and no turning purple. The tint product I got was Lumar.

 

35% done by the dealer, no idea who did it but it was a pretty good job.

A lot of people I know have used these guys and have heard nothing but good feedback.

 

My vote is for Sean at the Detailing Shop, Pfaff gets all their cars done there, and they have done 2 of mine. They know what/how to do to prevent loss of radio reception, something the other shops don't even think about.

 

Those of you that have gotten your tints from The Detailing Shop, what tint did you go with and how dark?

 

Can anyone post pictures of their tint on their cars and tell us what percentage it is?

 

You can actually loose some radio reception with after market tinting?

 

yes, i believe if the tint is metallized you will experience loss of reception

 

Anyone heard of Lazer tint up in Woodbridge? Any good? Just cause I don't want to drive all the way to newmarket for the detailing shop.

 

Lazer Tint did my car, unbelievable work and great guys too. They warranty their work and product for life.
