Re: Reputable Audi repair shop in Kitchener/Waterloo
@sportybry - Have you tried BL Motors behind the Enterprise Rental car place on Weber near Columbia? They have been there for 15 years and their sign says they specialize in Audi.s VW's and Beemers.
Has anyone dealt with them and what are your honest opinions?

Have you guys used Foreign Automotive and German Autotech? I'm interested in all opinions, positive AND negative - please feel free to PM me privately if you don't want to comment in public as I could really use the feedback.
I'm asking because in the past I was originally told about another audi mechanic in downtown kitchener and we feel he screwed us over royally.
His work was also second rate -- he did both rear wheel bearings and neither lasted more than 6 months. He warrantied the first side (but charged the mrs a ridiculous $85 to clean the shims on the brake pads after telling us it would "just cost a little bit" if he did it at the same time) and then he dodged our calls to have him fix the problem when the bearing on the other side went.

I have used B&L Motors in Waterloo a number of times. Blayne the owner is a nice guy. May e a little cheaper than the Audi dealer and ok for simple to medium complexity jobs. But I question the mechanics knowledge and dirt hand experience with the more complex jobs especially getting into complex electronic issues but that is just my suspicion based on the few times I asked some questions around such matters.

i personally used german autotech on colby drive in waterloo, great mechanics. Mike the owner knows his german cars very well, he has helped me out a lot in the past, and he does not give you the run around and try scam you. He is the most honest mechanic i know if i still drove an audi i would go to him still.

I took my car to Crosby right after I bought it, and the checked it out for me at no cost. I didn't even make an appointment. I think that's pretty cool.

Re: Reputable Audi repair shop in Kitchener/Waterloo
Hello-
I'm looking for any leads or comments people have (positive OR negative) on Audi repair shops in the K-W area. I've worked with one private Audi specialist and have been un-impressed with their work and bills.

Crosby looked after me once again just last week, I had a loaner for about a week while they were troubleshooting done unusual headlight problem. Great service, standard audi door rates.
