Reputable Audi repair shop in Kitchener/Waterloo
Hello-
I'm looking for any leads or comments people have (positive OR negative) on Audi repair shops in the K-W area. I've worked with one private Audi specialist and have been un-impressed with their work and bills.

I was hoping there's something here too. I'm closer to London than Kitchener and don't know of any good shop. So far car had been good (knock on wood). Had some warranty work done by dealer but don't think I can afford paying their rate.

This guy is great, he works mostly on Porsches, but does the other german brands too. He is just as expensive as the dealer though, but IMO he does better work (yes, than even the dealer)

^^still gets his parts from us though !
I work for Crosby Audi/Vw as a Apprentice Tech and All the guys on the Audi side are good guys, Die hard Audi fans and are all great Techs who know these cars inside and out
Uli Frutmair is a great tech. Worth every penny.

I'll only install geuine audi parts.....labour on b5 s4's is too much to risk doing the same repair twice lol

German Autotech is a good shop on colby drive, in waterloo. The mechanic there is very good and fair on his labour

Have you guys used Foreign Automotive and German Autotech? I'm interested in all opinions, positive AND negative - please feel free to PM me privately if you don't want to comment in public as I could really use the feedback.
I'm asking because in the past I was originally told about another audi mechanic in downtown kitchener and we feel he screwed us over royally.
His work was also second rate -- he did both rear wheel bearings and neither lasted more than 6 months. He warrantied the first side (but charged the mrs a ridiculous $85 to clean the shims on the brake pads after telling us it would "just cost a little bit" if he did it at the same time) and then he dodged our calls to have him fix the problem when the bearing on the other side went.
