Need ECU Flashed. Anyone recommendations
Hello everyone,
New Audi owner, recently bought myself a 2001 2.8 A6. LOVE HER but...
Ive been plagued with the P0431/P0421 code. It comes and goes whenever it pleases. Ive purchased the service documents pertaining that Audi's O2 sensors may have been set too aggressive therefore causing this code. An ECM flash by the dealer should get rid of this agressive programming
This is the first step Id like to take before replacing any parts. Ive received some hesitation from the Mississauga dealer saying that they want to do a whole check and that its probably nothing to do with software but the cats need to be replaced at a cost of 2000 per.
Can anyone recommend a dealer or someone that they have dealings with so that I can have this initial thing done?
It would be much appreciated.

After speaking with a few independants, this is a dealer only flash. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

your kinda limited because not to many companies make good tuning products for the 2.8 motor. I have a friend in vancouver bc and he is looking for software also.

You can try buying a brand new ECU which had exactly the same part number etc.. also change the coils, plugs and wires. just in case the failure on the ECU was due to some malfunctioning of any of these,or you can look for solutions here........
