I am new to this forum and need help please. We are fairly new owners of a 2009 A4. After being away in the sunny south for 3 months with no problems, we arrived back home to the cold in Canada and our proximity/convenience key will no longer open doors or start/stop the car. We have to manually press the buttons on the fob to open/lock the doors and put the fob into the ignition to start the car. Here is what I have checked so far:
-the batteries in both fobs are fresh
-have removed all other keys from keyring
-read every forum Google has to offer
-the car is in a heated garage
Any ideas out there?
