I picked up a set of JDM Work VS-MX wheels a month ago. They were in seriously rough condition.

I first took them apart (3 Piece wheels)

Then I went over to consolidated compressor and S4 silica blasted, then bead blasted them

Then the faces were finished using 6 light coats of VHT satin black caliper paint

The barrels and lips went over to Revwerks, who sent them out for powder, it is a metallic gloss black, almost like black chrome

Once I had all parts back in my possession it was time for re-assembly, all bolts (40/wheel) were polished on a wire wheel

I think they turned out amazing, total investment on these is around 800, not bad for a set of freshly refinished 3 piece wheels

as the weather was **** here is my flat black wheels on the a4 .

paddle shift wheel from an euro sline a3 and you can just see the rs4 dead pedal.

with the door blades i am good for an extra 150awhp.......

airbag is from the original wheel not quite an exact match, it a working progress to find the right one at a good price.

 

If I still had a TIP, I would steal your wheel
