And thats fine, I completely support that.. I just think $35 was excessive. For comparison sake, ACNA (Audi Club of North America) costs $55 annually, but you recieve quarterly full ~75 page color magazines and several events a year. (Winter/Summer driving schools at extra cost, One night they organized a 'pub night' with free bratwurst and beer, and the dealer brought out several new cars including the RS4, S6 and TT (When the TT had just been released)
Im just saying that the $35 should be justifiable as it is somewhat large for a club in its 'infancy'.

I see where your coming from, completely fair. Obviously it will take some time to get the CAC to the point wher it can do all those things, but if no one joins then there is no cash in the clubs bank to get things rolling. What do you think is a fair price for membership, considering intial costs of printing stickers, cards. I dont think that he is looking for reimbursement for time, just cost of producing the aforementionted items.

Anyone want to meet up this weekend? Supposed to be quite nice. I am in town Friday til next Thursday. Taking my B5 S4 in to Tunedub to get some stuff fixed. Would love to meet some other Audi owners.

Simply put the $35 is for the club fees, most people out of good generosity have given $40 and that 40 has gone towards the club. I am not trying to live of off this money, just software common tools etc. Oh yeah lemmiwinks(is free), but Vag-com, ELSA, ETKA, Bentley do cost money!!! Like you say they also run a busniess and if people dont rip them off and pay fairly it is sucessfull. right? If it were for people like you who are willing to scrounge of the internet these things would not exist! So dont come on here saying something is over my head because you personally do not know me buddy! So simply put without insulting anyone you can pay the $35 or stop nagging about it! Eurodrivers charges the same thing and you are a member right? I wonder if you disputed this with them? So let this topic rest and have a good day Mark!

I will get the meet photos up soon guy's I did not have time as I was in an Emergency on tuesday early morning! I had to get my appendix removed and was admited to the hospital monday night and surgery was tuesday morning. So in perfect timing for my wedding I guess some body parts got scared of my future wife and they wanted out Glad the Audi is sticking around and have not driven it since monday which sucks

we set our fees on eurodrivers at 35 new members and 20 renewal.. and yes it takes alot to startup a club.. trust me since we started eurodrivers over 4 years ago.. the vagcom deal isn't really included in ours since we have 15 of them in the club but everything costs money from printing stickers to cards to shows..

ps.. i love audi

i'd love to see some pics of the last meet since i missed again..
