By baller cars I meant the varous Ferrari's, Lambos and Astons that constantly cruise 17th on a nice day... (I live a block off 17th.. and see it every decent day) and although I do love my car.. and other Audi's, only an R8 would garner that type of attention...and really if you want more people to join.. attention woudlnt be a bad thing.

As with any type of car meet there are always onlookers that drive by acting like idiots.. seen it happen at Chinook, Westhills and many other locations. (With the previous Audi Clud group, Beyond.ca and Eurodrivers.ca)

Before getting in too deep into track days and other events.. why not check with our local ANCA (Audi Club of North America.. there is a Prairies Chapter) rep and see what he has planned? The track/insurance/instructors are very expensive and tough to organize.. why not go with someone who has done it before??

Already got it ready just need the money have contacted race city and everything was explained to me and it isnt all that dificult. But I will check into the ACNA, but usually those guys are associated with the dealers is what I heard, something I would like to stay away from and not have them control us.

'Those guys' are associated with Audi of Canada.. and North America. While you may want to stay free of 'The man' (joke regarding 'control us') they also provide great support and sponsorship of these events. They have run many great events in the past. (Winter driving school, summer track events, info/demo nights at the dealer, Pub nights)

If you had contacted Race City already.. how come you didnt know it was open this year? While it may not be difficult on the payment side.. I do beleive you need instructors present.. and they aren't always easy to come by. (Personal Experience from past track events)

I don't mean to start any trouble.. just seems like you are trying to re-invent the wheel a bit here...why not start where others have left off, or where they currently are instead of going back to the start?
