Default Windshield Wiper 2007 A6

Is there a way to turn the automatic setting for the windshield wiper off? Unless I'm mistaken there isn't a specific setting to use the automatic wiper system the first position is the auto/delay setting and the automatic setting is too sensitive. So I just want to eliminate the auto setting so the intermittent setting works

Yes, to bypass the automatic wipers, switch the stalk from the Auto/Delay position to the Intermittent/Manual setting. This disables the rain-sensing function and lets the wipers operate only on the interval you set.
