Hey, i swapped my deck from factory to my eclipse, and radio reception is absolutely horrible. I will get the station if im in the stations parking lot, but thats about it. So what ive heard is the wiring harness i got isnt quite right and my power antenna SHOULD be plugged in! IM in an B5 A4 and was wondering if its supposed to be getting power or no? I wont have a problem fixing that if it is supposed to be there. Anyone know if it should be powered?

 

Nobody with an aftermarket deck and radio reception can check this out for me?

 

I think your power antenna should be powered. Too bad your already waiting for almost a year for an answer and i am the first one to reply. I'll check this out my father own an auto parts store he might know the answer. Cheers! I really want to help you!

connect the Blue wire from the adapter to the Blue power antenna wire off your aftermarket deck.
