Default Bluetooth for '06 Symphony

Hi all,

Just got an '06 A3 with the so called premium Bose Symphony stereo (no nav). Wondering what the recommended purchase/procedure would be with this thing to get bluetooth functionality. Its got the switch on the steering wheel, but not the bluetooth package. Also wondering if there's such a thing as upgraded firmware to get it to charge newer ipods/iphones. Any ideas welcome.

I was wondering if you ever got the bluetooth functionality going in your car? I am interested in getting same. Since I've experienced an integrated system in my other vehicle, it is the way to go, no charging, no wires etc.

I'm driving a 2007 A4. I would imagine that that this would be the same system.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

It may just be an add on, I have the same thing WITH the bluetooth, but no GPS.

A few google's seem to indicate that it's something that can just be added. Not really sure on the policies of posting links to other forums, but google:
"Audi bluetooth retrofit" and you should find some helpful hits.

GL!

Thumbs up Re: Bluetooth for '06 Symphony

Thanks for the link info. Still a confusing issue for a guy who wants to find someone that will install the required equipment and ensure that it functions properly.
