Hello.

My partner and I are in the process of finalising the transaction on a RS4 B7 2008 model.

The car does not have winter tires mounted at the moment so before I drive it off the lot I would like to mount proper winter tires. I am going to be living in the GTA and as an Expat (I am Austrian) I do not like the idea of not running Winter tires on a car in winter.

Right now I am thinking:
225/45R18 XL Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 Blackwall as the tires and
18X8.5 TRMotorsport MT1 Matte Grey as rims. I am not a petrol head so I care little how well it looks. It has to be functional and safe.

Is that a sane combination or would you recommend something else?

I live in the GTA as well and HIGHLY recommend winters. I got a great set up from Kipling Tire (Kipling Ave, north of The Queensway in Etobicoke). Ask for Justin and tell him Colin sent you. I think I paid $2200 cash for rims and rubber. call first 416 233 5551
