Hi everyone, i want to get a new set of rims for my b5 s4 and i've stumbled across these very nice Rotas ( Rota P-45R ) P-45R - ROTA Wheels. would they fit if i get 18's? thx in advance.

 

I'm curious as well see how those rims has the offset of +20

 

The wheels should clear your brakes, the issue may lie with what tires you plan on running. That offset may have you rolling the fenders if you select a tire that is too wide.

 

they have a 30 offset as well available. the problem i will have will be the bolt pattern which is 5 x 114.3.. Is there a safe (race proof) way of making them fit well?

 

I would say that you should check into wobble bolts, check tirerack for more info, I am no expert when it comes to these. The 30 et may be a bit better suited to your application.

 

Ok, I did a lot of research today on the rotas and apparently are not so great... therefore i looked around and voila! Found myself 19" OZ Ultraleggera's for only $1000 at a private sale, YAY!!!

 

Much better choice in my opinion, I have OZ SL's, you wont have any fittiment issues with those shoes.

 

Thanks nothing77, Now i need your guys' input for a VERY good city/TRACK tire to wrap these nice new 19" OZ's .

 

Goodyear FI assymetric, michelin pilot sport PS2. pirelli pzero, continental contisportcontact 3.

All the above will give you fantastic street dirveability, while allowing for some excellent performance if you visit the track. Obviously for the best absolute track performance you should look into a tack designated tire, but these tires should get you in the game.
