Just picked up a 2005.5 S4....Which Chip?

Well I second that ARTY!!! lol Just got my FI cat back installed with 1 week old JHM tune.
The exhuast has the typical drone at 1500-1800rpm (will never drive in "D" mode again..lol).
I told my wife to take the car just now and told her to slam the peddle down (she never did this before)....It was the cutest thing seeing her head get jerked back like one of those Audi crash test dummies...! She ran through 3 gears till the end of the street, and I was in heaven hearing those deep tones!! I honestly thought it too quiet while driving myself...I guess the outside is a different story.
I asked Jay about the rev limiter, he said he never adjusts them on autos since there are no gains to be had...Whatever, it rips through first just as you said...like a banchee in heat. I still need my piggies done but 2 shops have declined in Ontario....I'm hoping I can get this done for $500 on a tiptronic but it's looking exnay on the Pigay!. One guy told me the precat core was SS, this means it must be pretty tough to poke out?? So please, if any of you guys know of any local chaps who can do this job for $500 or so...give me a link!
I'm thinking I may have to reset my ECU (after installing the cat back 1 week later), I thought removing the battery cable would work...not sure....but many say the JHM chip will re-learn on its own. I would rather do something pro active then wait around.

you can DIY it with art. It's not that hard at all. Go check that DIY on euroaddiction.
p.s. call a couple of Audi/Euro shops...i think there are a few around. Independant Tuning would be a good place to start.

^^^ forget the euro shops! the reason i will be doing it myself is because i just don't feel like paying some faks to learn on my car how to do piggies,

There's a place on islington by queensway that someone told posted about once...they're Audi / VW specialists, but DIY is a great option. Are you guys both TIP transmissions?
Also check the B5 forums for a DIY. Not that it's entirely relevant, but you'll see on gutting the precat, there is more than one way to skin a cat

You notice any reduction with the drone once u put straight Dp's, I know u don't have the drone we have but you must have had a bit right?

piggies done!!!! 26 hours later since we could'nt get the hoist to work!!! lol
Big f'n job, but so far she seems to be getting stronger and stronger...I should reset my ecu...wonder if taking the battery cable off for 10 secs would do the trick??
