You can use UPS as well. They will charge a small fee to hold the items. I do it sometimes when ordering tires - but I do it at Ogdensburg.

I've been doing the same thing, ordering to an address in New York State and picking them up.
I've been using Kinek:

You get emails (or texts) whenever a package is delivered, and lots of choices of locations - I've used Lewiston and Buffalo.
Each location has different pricing policies, but is generally $5 a package and you get between 1 week and a month before they start charging for storage.
